Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond is embracing her 'grandma era.'

The 56-year-old Food Network starbecame a grandmother last December, when her daughterAlex Drummond, 27, gave birth to baby girl Sofia with husbandMauricio Scott.

And over the weekend, Drummond shared some adorable photos and a video with her granddaughter to Instagram.

One photo showed her smiling while holding little Sofia, who was clad in a cute pink onesie.In another one, Ree and Sofia were seen lounging on an outdoor sofa.

'In my grandma era,' the delighted new grandmother — whose family net worthis estimated to be around $200 million — wrote in the caption, along with a dancing emoji.

Her daughter Alex commented, writing, 'My favorite era!!'

Another snap showed her taking Sofia for a neighborhood stroll with their golden retriever in Texas. She also shared a sweet video of Sofia in a bassinet, playfully tickling her

'When your firstborn has a baby that looks exactly like she looked, you get to relive all the delicious feelings of first-time motherhood, but without the sleep deprivation, hormones, and confusion,' she wrote in the caption.

'I didn’t think I was ready yet to cross over to the granny side of the street, but Lord in Heaven…I am loving it and I’m so grateful for this gift.'

Ree's fans filled the comments with praise, especially applauding her for wholeheartedly embracing her role as a grandmother.

'I just love that you are embracing the grandma era! I adore my grandchildren but still cringe a little at being grandmother. Thank you for your positive attitude,' one wrote.

'This era looks AMAZING on you both!' another added.

Aside from Alex, Ree and her husband Ladd Drummond also share daughter Paige, 25, and sons Bryce, 21, and Todd, 20—along with their foster son Jamar, 21.

Ree joyfully announced on her website that she became a grandmother in December.

Her daughter Alex revealed last June that she and her husband Mauricio were expecting their firstborn child in the winter.

Their bundle of joy arrived in time for Christmas when Alex gave birth to her daughter at 2:30am on December 18 in Dallas, Texas.

Ree shared heartwarming snap of her cradling her 'perfect' newborn granddaughter - and just underneath it, she revealed the baby's name.

'My heart is exploding with happiness, so I couldn't wait to share the news with you that Alex and Mauricio's baby girl, Sofia, was born early this morning!' she wrote.

'My daughter just had a daughter. I'm honestly still trying to wrap my head (and heart) around it all,' the television personality glowingly added.

Ree and Ladd, whom she has been married to for 28 years, were able to arrive at the Dallas hospital in time for the birth.

'Mauricio attended to Alex's every need, to the point that the rest of us questioned if we even needed to be there,' Ree gushed. 'What a gift to Ladd and me, for Alex to have a partner in life who demonstrates his love through such clear action.'

She described the baby as 'perfect,' adding: 'I'm saying that with as much objectivity as I can. But I'm not kidding...she is perfect. Like, if you looked up "perfect" in Miriam Webster, it would reference Sofia Scott, and maybe even show a photo of her. Although that would probably technically be an encyclopedia.'

Ree warmly told her fans: 'I want Alex's internet aunts and uncles, who have watched her grow up on my blog and cooking show, to be able to celebrate the best day of her life...and certainly my and Ladd's life.'

Alex and Mauricio tied the knot at the Drummond Ranch in rural Oklahoma on May Day 2021.

The Drummond family, one of the top 100 landowners in the U.S., has an estimated net worth of around $200 million, with much of the wealth stemming from Ladd's cattle and horse operations.

Ladd, who co-owns Drummond Land & Cattle Co., comes from a long line of ranchers dating back to the late 1800s when his ancestor Fred Drummond first began acquiring land in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Beyond ranching, the Drummonds also have a lucrative arrangement with the U.S. government.

Records obtained by DailyMail.com in 2017 revealed that since 2006, the Bureau of Land Management has paid Drummond Land & Cattle Co. nearly $24 million to provide land for wild horses and burros as part of federal conservation efforts.

With a total landholding of 675 square miles, the Drummond estate covers more ground than half of Rhode Island and would rank as the seventh-largest U.S. city by area.
